Budget option. Mixing range from 5-92% suits most mixing requirements.
This range of mixers utilises new mixing technology that means they do not require a receiver to transfer the mixed gas to before sending it to the packing machine. Normally under variable flow conditions a receiver is needed as the ‘buffer’.
With no receiver required, the FIX/FLEX range is freed from power (unless you opt for the alarm module) which makes it a simple process of adding to your set up. Just hook up the supply gases (usually N2 and CO2) and a separate line out for the mixed gas to your packing line, dial up the specified mix (FLEX models) and you’re mixing!
FIX models come factory set to deliver a predetermined mix anywhere between 1 and 99%
FLEX models allow adjustment from 5% up to 92%
3 gas versions are available but only in FIX models
There are a range of FIX/FLEX mixers sized depending on required flow
Add alarm module NXT to give the mixer inlet pressure monitoring. This can be connected by cable to the packing machine to shut the process down should gas failure occur. Alarm module shows digital readout of line pressures.
