Shipping policy

1. Introduction

Thank you for visiting Niche Gas Products. We are committed to delivering our instant purchase products to you in an economical and  timely manner. Our shipping policy provides detailed information about shipping options, timelines, costs, and procedures. By ordering from our store, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Shipping Provider

Niche Gas Products uses Australia Post for all our web store deliveries. Australia Post offers carbon neutral parcel postage to help reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and dimension of parcel packaging.  Customers are welcome to contact NGP during business hours to discuss alternative order delivery methods to suit their requirements.

4. Shipping Area

Currently, we ship to all addresses within Australia.  International orders can be arranged by contacting us directly at sales@nichegas.com.au or by calling us on +61 3 94841490 

5. Processing and Delivery Times

  • Order Processing: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
  • Delivery Times: Once processed, items typically arrive within 3-5 business days, depending on the destination. You will receive a tracking number once your order has shipped, allowing you to track its progress.
  • Stock discrepancies: Stock discrepancies can occur from time to time. If we cannot fulfill your order within normal processing times, we will contact you and update you on the expected ETA. If you do not want to wait for the stock to become available, we will refund your order immediately.
  • Christmas closure: dates will be displayed on our page (banner) each year.  Orders placed during our annual closure will be processed immediately upon our return.

6. Tracking Your Order

If you want your order to have Australia Post tracking, you need to select the Express option.  Tracking information will be issued upon order dispatch.

7. Packaging

Where possible, we will package orders using recycled or biodegradable materials as part of our commitment to sustainability.  In some instances, protective bubble wrap or air pillow packaging will be necessary for the safe transport of your order.

8. Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful,  you can collect your item from the Post Office, a parcel locker, or redirect it to another address.  You can also request that Australia Post leave the item in a safe place. 

We strive to ensure that your order is processed and shipped promptly. However, once your order has been handed over to Australia Post, delivery times and the handling of your parcel are beyond our control. NGP is not responsible for any delays, lost, or failed deliveries caused by Australia Post, including circumstances such as incorrect addresses, weather-related disruptions, or misrouting.

If you experience issues with your delivery, we recommend contacting Australia Post directly with your tracking information (if you have one). While we are not liable for failed deliveries, we are happy to assist you in following up with Australia Post to help resolve any issues.

9. Changes to Delivery Address

We understand that mistakes happen. If you need to change the delivery address after placing your order, please contact us immediately at admin@nichegas.com.au. We can update the delivery address as long as the order has not yet been dispatched.
